Choosing your setup

The 7–8mm glass figure describes wall thickness rather than the neck opening. The 45mm opening is a different measurement, relevant to the connection with the stem and grommet. Keep the accessory weight separate from any water added during preparation.

Glob is a separate Big Maks shape from Elegant. Their listed dimensions differ, so compare the exact model if you are keeping an existing stem. A matching neck opening alone does not establish the available space for every downstem.

Check the stem, appropriate grommet and downstem clearance before assembly. Fit the connection without forcing the stem against the neck, and place the complete equipment on a level surface. Thick glass still needs careful handling when moving or changing components.

The stated 1.7kg is equivalent to 1,700g for the accessory itself. When planning how to move the complete arrangement, account for the separate stem and any water as additional weight.
